LG Optimus 2X: sequence could be in processing

The dual-core Optimus 2X may not have hit the shelves yet, but LG has alledgedly began working on its sequel.

As per the sources the Korean manufacturer is running on the “LG P999″, a 3G-enabled Android smartphone.

Although unverified its name recommend a hit by the Optimus 2X, or else known as the P990. From its revealed documentation, the phone has a Bluetooth, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, with 4G speeds offered in the States. Sources say it will come with Android 2.2 with a looming upgrade to Gingerbread, and from a benchmark scores list. Although it’s rumored to come within next few months.
